Auntie M's Wedding

For those of you worried about my child still sleeping with me, we have made some progress...kind of. We got a full bed for her room and when I'm at home she & I have started sleeping in it instead of my bed. Of course, when I'm gone she sleeps with Scott in our bed because he'd never fit comfortably in hers. So we've made some progress. A few nights ago, I slept in the front room(no point in sleeping with Scott, he stills snores) and she didn't wake until 5:30am. I, however, still woke up and couldn't sleep...figures. Now, since then, she's woken up to potty between midnight and 2am. So, we're trying.

Halloween was a full success. At first she didn't want to get in her costume but we convinced her to go knock on our neighbors door (Addison is near her age). Once she got started, there was no stopping her! Scott said she & Addison were so cute, she actually went to the doors only with Addison, said trick-or-treat, and then went on full sprint to the next house.
She has all of sudden become afraid of "monsters" and noises. She asks what every sound is, and is always asking if there are monsters. Especially in the dark. I'm not sure where the fears came from really.
We had Auntie M & FUD's wedding on the 22nd. It was beautiful!! And Evi had a blast. She actually went down the isle as a flowergirl and dropped petals with everyone looking and no rehearsal other than she & I talked about it. Had bets been made on wether or not she'd do it, I think everyone in my family would have taken "NO!" But she did great. When she made it to Scott she said "I did it all by myself!" very loudly. It was pretty cute. Then she danced the night away. One song was played and she came running up to me saying "it's Shrek mommy!!" I couldn't believe she'd recognize a song from the movie. And it looked like every other small child there did too! She played hard and was up till midnight! I was exhausted! That's her pouting in the small picture above. Can't make it any bigger, sorry.

The BEST Birthday Party EVER!!!

We are in BIG trouble. I think I may have just thrown Evi her best birthday party, and she'll probably never remember it! I don't know if we'll ever be able to top it! She had a barnyard party with animals, a tractor, a wagon ride, and a fishing tank! A big huge thanks go to mother-in-law, Bebe, who let us have the party at her house and made it completely easy on me by basically doing everything! We had so much fun. There was a pony, 2 donkeys, a rooster & a bunny. An hour was more than enough for Evi, and then she was ready for it to be over. I requested books for gifts and we got lots of good ones. (Mommy & Daddy were tired of reading the same books, it's nice to have new ones! Besides, this child has plenty of toys!) ALL of her grandparents were there (minus Bebe's new husband, Gary) and her aunt Mali, and Auntie M & FUD (future Uncle Darrell). She had constant attention and everyone doing exactly what she wanted. No one telling her "not right now, I 'm busy" or "go play by yourself" or "go play in the street"...just kidding on that last one! Anyway, she was spoiled rotten by everyone.

The little boy next to her in the photo is Landon. Let's just say, he's a lover. He's always loving on her and excited to see her when she gets to school. It's so cute. She has started 3year old gymnastics which means she goes in without me, and has to listen to her teacher. She wined about it, that she didn't want me to be on the other side of the window. But once we got there, she did really good. And it almost made me cry, she's gotten so big! She's growing up and will be moving out of the house before I know it!
