11 months

SHE'S WALKING!!!!
can you believe it? she's been walking a couple of weeks now. she took her first steps (more than 3) in raleigh, nc, when we were visiting scott's sister kristi, her husband michael and their daughter grace (only 6 months older than evi).

we had a great time watching the girls fight over toys. whatever one had,
the other wanted. toddler rule: what's mine, is mine;
what's yours is mine; if i have one like it, it's mine;
if i was playing with it earlier, it's still mine!
anyway, i happened to get the 10 steps on film! and scott & i both were there for it.
and now she's everywhere. there is no stopping her.



still no teeth! i thought for sure one was coming through, but no. we're still gumming our food to death. and it's funny because everyone, from family to perfect strangers, have said "oh, she must be teething" since she was 4 months old because of the front of her outfits were always soaked in drool. but she seems to have learned how to control that a little better now. (i just looked at her as i typed that sentence and she had a big thing of drool dropping to the floor. so maybe that's where it's all going now)
