First weeks

Hello friends and family!!
Well, we are 4 weeks into Evi’s life and so far it’s fantastic! She’s so much fun even though she really does nothing. Today she really started responding to my talking to her in a sing song voice. And she’s tried to make a few cooing noises. She’s getting there. I just love my time in the mornings with her. Which brings me to phone calls…a few of you have called, a few times, and I haven’t answered, and I haven’t returned calls in a timely fashion. I would like to say sorry, and too bad!! Teehee!!! I have turned the phones off in the bedroom, and down in the rest of the house so that we won’t be disturbed in case we’re napping. And when we’re not, she’s usually attached to my boob, so I’m not going to run for a phone. I always mean to call back, but I
now have “mother’s brain” as my mom calls it and never get around to remembering to do it. Let’s just say I have better things to do, like stare at my child. It’s like falling in love. When you first meet that special someone, you spend all your time with them. Your friends and family fall to the wayside. And when the newness wears off (sometime between now and the next 18 years) I’ll return all the phone calls. Everyone keeps telling me how little they are this for such a short time and to enjoy it as much as possible, so I’m doing my best. Anyway here is a family pix.Love mi
