1 year!!!

My sweet baby is 1 year! I can't believe how fast it went considering the 9 months i was pregnant seemed to last forever!! We had a full month. Her great grandfather turned 85 (my dad's dad), her Gigi (my mom) turned 39 (again), we went to the renaissance fair in houston and had a great first birthday party. And the really big news...after 51 weeks, we finally have a tooth, or at least the start of a tooth. It's just barely breaking the surface. I'm almost kind of sad to see her toothless grin go. She does that old man bitter beer face so well! Now if we could just get some hair to grow on the top
of her head for a piggy tail! She does have a great mullet working in the back though!
At the ren festival in houston, we purchased a fairy outfit: wings, skirt and flowered hair wreath. She was soooo cute. People kept stopping to take her picture. And she would pose and smile for them. She went as a fairy to her birthday party. (she's gonna be a cow for halloween)
All in all, she is a typical 1 year old. She'll love a food one day, hate it the next. She's developing her own language, Evinese. Can be very dramatic and is becoming very proficient in displaying her temper when she doesn't get what she wants. She has added "more" to her signing repertoire, but has only done it once, after eating a chocolate chip cookie. And of course she got another one!And since she is walking(running really), we have now begun the battle of wanting to get down in restaurants and stores to walk around. While i know the battle will be long, and just the first of many to come, i feel determined to win it... at the moment. Otherwise, keep her tummy full and her naps on time, and she's pretty much a happy camper, like her mamma!
Check back in a couple of days and i'll have her halloween costume on here too.
